Fernando Basch at the World Economic Forum in São Paulo

What are the main challenges when implementing compliance programs in Latin America? What are the key drivers of effective corporate governance and compliance strategies? These were some of the questions answered by Fernando Basch, partner of Governance Latam, when speaking at the “Trust Transforming Corruption” panel session of the World Economic Forum on Latin America 2018, which took place in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, last March 14-15. In the photos, Fernando Basch presented together with Angel Melguizo (Chief Economist, Latin America Unit, OECD), Delia Ferreira Rubio (President, Transparency International), Daniel Funes de Rioja (Chair, B20 Argentina), Ngaire Woods (Dean, Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University) and Flavio Cotini (President and CEO, Walmart Brazil), and exchanged ideas with the Vice President and Chancellor of the Republic of Panama, Isabel de Saint-Malo de Alvarado.
